·        Teacher  Jun. 2018 - Present: School of Foreign Studies, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Teaching English major and non-English major students at graduate level.

·        Teaching Assistant  Aug. 2013 - May 2018:  English Department, Oklahoma State University, USA. Taught the course Technical Writing to junior and senior undergraduate students. 

·        Visiting Scholar   Feb. 2012 – Aug. 2012: Program of Writing and Rhetoric, University of Colorado, USA. Conducted co-research with faculty there.

·        Teacher  Nov. 2004 – present: School of Foreign Studies, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Taught College English to Chinese and Malaysian undergraduates.

·        Teacher  Sep. 1996 – Oct. 2004: Department of Foreign Languages, the Fourth Military Medical University, China. Taught Comprehensive College English to graduate and undergraduate students, and English for Medical Purpose to graduates in medicine.

·        Research Writing Advisor  Sep. 2008 – present: Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Reviewed the research articles written in English by faculty and students (mainly doctoral students who are required to publish research articles in international academic journals retrieved in SCI or EI), and offered language help.

·        ESL Instructor  Mar. 2006 – Jan. 2007: Invited to be ESL instructor by Wenzhi College, College of Vocational & Technical Education, and Continuing Education College at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China

·        Adjunct Faculty   Sep. 2004 – July 2010: City College, Xi’an, China.  Participated in English teaching and course design. Taught College English to non-English major students and Literary Translation Appreciation to English majors.

·        HR Trainer  Sep. 2007 – May 2008: Xi'an Schaltbau Electric Corp., Ltd., China. Responsible for English language training of the staff.

 

OTHER WORK

·       Course construction

2007 to 2010: Working as Assistant Director in building and maintenance of a college-level online English course for distance learning students enrolled in Xi’an Jiaotong University.

·        Research paper revision and editing

2008 to present: Revising the research articles written by researchers and doctoral students in Xi’an Jiaotong University which are, aimed at publication on international journals, particularly SCI and EI journals. Up to now, around 100 papers have already been published after my revision and about 30 are in review.
