Jianqiang Deng, Ph. D, Professor

(The Department of Chemical Process Machinery) 

 

       He has published more than 110 papers, authorized 15 patents and presided over 3 projects in the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has undertaken a number of projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program), Ph.D. Programs Foundation of Ministry of Education of China, the Science and Technology Research and Development Program of Shanxi Province, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.

       He won the Excellent Thesis Award of the Journal of Refrigeration,  the Excellent Class Teacher of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Excellent Graduation Design Instructor of Xi'an Jiaotong University and other honors.

       Guiding undergraduate students won the special award of the 7th National College Students Process Equipment Practice and Innovation Competition in 2016 (& Magna Best Fluid Machinery Award).

Research Interests

  • High performance chemical machinery and equipments.
  • Refrigeration/heat pump technology and application.
  • Advance technology of residual pressure recovery and supercritical compressed air energy storage.
  • The theory and simulation of process fluid.

The main research work

  1. (1)Advanced design theories of chemical machinery and the equipment with high performance; (2)System integration and optimization control; (3)Process transfer and enhancement; (4)Internal fluid dynamics and CFD simulation; (5)Energy-saving and performance optimization in chemical process; (6)Internal visualization technology.
  2. (1)New refrigeration cycle;    (2)Heat pump water heater technology; Transcritical COrefrigeration technology;

                Two-phase flow ejector technology;   (3)Non-equilibrium flow;   (4)CFD model;   (5)Simulation and optimization of ejector expansion refrigeration system;   (6)Supercritical visuallization technology.
