Projects: Research for paradontosis vaccine of Porphyromonas gingivalis.

1. Construction of a recombinant expression vector of rgpAcd gene of porphyromonas gingivalis.
2. Construction of a recombinant expression vector of fimA gene of porphyromonas gingivalis.
3. screening paradontosis vaccine candidate antigens of Porphyromonas gingivalis using Proteomics methods.

Projects: Modulation of Adaptive Immune Responses in Mice upon Exposure to Peroxisome Proliferators.

1. To find the peroxisome proliferators causing severe immunosuppression in mice.
2. To confirm these effects due to a reduction in thymocyte and lymphocyte proliferation.
3. These effects occur via an indirect pathway and are largely dependent on activation of the PPARa receptor.

Dissertation: Preliminary study on HPV18L1-E6、E7chimerism gene prophylactic and therapeutic DNA vaccines.
1. To delete the recombinants of HPV18 E6 and E7 fragments transforming activity, and linked with HPV 18 L1 gene, respectively cloned into eukaryotic expression vector pVAX1, generated 12 chimerism recombinants plasmids termed as pVAX1-L1E6Mxx-E7Mxx.
2. To confirm the pVAX1-L1E6Mxx-E7Mxx plasmids can effectively express target protein in the transfected cell lines COS-7.
3. To induce the mice mounting humoral and cellular immunoresponse, when given with im, or intranasal, implying that the recombinant DNAs have essential immunogenecity for being vaccines.
4. To find the costimulatory molecule B7-2 could enhance the immune responses against HPV18L1 cDNA when administrated concurrently.
