Biography: I am a Profeesor of Xi'an Jiaotong Univerity. I received Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University. I worked as a visiting student in Microsoft Research Asia (Nov. 2005 - March 2008), a post-doctoral researcher in UCF of USA (August 2009 - April 2010), willow team of  École Normale Supérieure de Paris / INRIA (Sept. 2012 - August 2014).  I serve as the editor board member of IJCV, and has been area chairs of ICCV, ECCV, MICCAI, etc. I am recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in China.

 

Current Research

  • Machine learning methods, including generalizable/explainable machine learning, optimal transport, AI in mathematics
  • Computer vision and medical image analysis.
