- Zhang Jianxun is a fulltime professor, doctoral supervisor and an international welding engineer in Xi'an Jiaotong University.

- Presided over more than 130 scientific research projects, among them 5 national natural science foundation projects, 3 doctoral fund projects, 3 national science and technology support projects, 1 item of national 863 project corpus, one national key r&d plan project, four key laboratory foundation, 6 provincial research and development projects, as well as a number of key enterprise research and development projects.
- It has won 1 second prize of national teaching achievements, 2 first prizes of provincial and ministerial science and Technology Awards, 1 second prize of provincial and ministerial teaching achievements, and 3 second prizes of Science and Technology Progress of Shaanxi Provincial Education Commission.He has written more than 300 academic papers, authorized more than 100 invention patents, published 1 academic monographs, and participated in the compilation of 6 teaching materials and technical books.
