1 doctoral and 1-2 master candidates every year.
We welcome students from chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy power, mechanics, material, and other related backgrounds to join the team.

Research Interests

Research Interests: Digital Design; Intelligent Assembly Process; Failure Analysis; Measuring Equipment; Industrial Software
(1) Digital Design: digital design, micro contact Mechanics, multiscale effect, interface shape and performance co-design
(2) Intelligent Assembly Process: high-fidelity prediction, digital twin, intelligent design of assembly process
(3) Failure Analysis: creep relaxation, self-loosening of bolted joints, pipeline sealing with high temperature and high pressure 
(4) Measuring Equipment: bolt preload measuring instrument, assembly interface inspection equipment
(5) Industrial Software: structural design and strength calculation, bolted joints design, assembly performance prediction
