We are interested in developing advanced carbon-based nanomaterials and stimuli-responsive nanoparticles with useful properties in bioimaging, nanomedicine and nanoscale biosensing. We mainly focused on the synthesis and basic understanding of carbon-based nanomaterials, hybrid polymer materials, carbon-inorganic hybrid materials, metal-organic frameworks, and their applications in multimodal imaging of biological systems, hemostasis and biocatalysis, and ultra-sensitive disease diagnosis and blood detoxification.
