We are interested in developing advanced porous nanomaterials and hybrid polymer with useful properties in separation, drug delivery, nanomedicine and nanoscale biosensing. We mainly focused on the synthesis and basic understanding of carbon-based nanomaterials, hybrid polymer materials, carbon-inorganic hybrid materials, metal-organic frameworks, and their applications in multimodal imaging of biological systems, hemostasis and biocatalysis, and ultra-sensitive disease diagnosis and blood detoxification. Our works are enabled by various tools employed in the group, mainly including the open channel separation techniques, micro-and nano-devices, and functional nanomaterials.
