Welcome to my website! My name is ZHU Xu. I am a Professor in the School of Marxism at Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). I am also affiliated with the Center for Asia-Europe Studies (CAES) at XJTU. I am the Doctoral Supervisor and Vice Director at the Center for Asia-Europe Studies. I am the Zhongying Young Scholar of Xi’an Jiaotong University.

I grew up in Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, China. I got the B. A. in English for Science and Technology, Harbin University of Science and Technology, China (2004-2008) , M. A. in Military Thought and Military History, Nankai University, China (2008-2011), and Ph. D. in International Relations, Nankai University, China (2011-2015). In academic year 2013-2014, I was a Visiting Doctoral Student at the Center for the Study of Europe in Boston University, USA. In academic year 2019, I was a Visiting Scholar at  the Center for International Studies in Sciences Po, France.

My research interests include Global Governance and China’s Diplomacy, Contemporary International Relations Studies. I have presided over almost ten research project (including one national level project and four provincial and ministerial level projects). I have published more than twenty academic papers in CSSCI journals.
