Sep. 2004 - Mar. 2005: Dr. Fang assisted his Ph.D. supervisor guide three junior doctoral candidates’ researches. The topics included determination of sterols by liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, phase equilibrium for supercritical CO2 + methyl esterified DOD and modification of carbohydrates by extrusion cooking (in Jiangnan University, Wuxi, P.R.China)

Jul. 2000 - Aug. 2000: As an assistant of his Ph.D. supervisor, Dr. Fang took part in the trial run for commercial production of lycopene (Hongbo Bio. Products Co., Ltd., Shihezi, Xingjiang Province, P.R.China).

Jul. 1998 - Aug. 1998: Dr. Fang helped one senior doctoral candidate correlate and analyze his experimental data on hypoglycemic effect of Fenugreek Gum in normal and alloxan diabetic rates (in Jiangnan University, Wuxi, P.R.China). 

Sep. 1994 - Jul. 1997, Ms D. Thesis: Measurement and simulation on radical moisture distribution in wet materials dried by microwave (in Sichuan University, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, P.R.China).

Feb. 1994 - Jul. 1994, Bachelor’s Degree Thesis: Research on the properties of Protein Enzyme Produced by furu Mucor As3.25. (in Sichuan University, Chengdu, P.R.China).
