Education

2007 China University of Geosciences (Beijing),  Bachelor in Civil Engineering

2010 Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing), Master in Geotechnical Engineering

2014 Ecole Centrale Paris, France, Doctor in Geotechnical Engineering

Research interests

1.  *Soil mechanics related to climatic changes:

Ø Multi-scale experimental studies of cracks in geo-materials;
Ø Properties of special soils. Concentrating on swelling and shrinkage deformation of special soil under complex boundary conditions, influence of minerals, microstructure, evolutions of cracks, tensile strength etc.
*2. Assessment and prevention of geological disasters:
Ø Focusing on materials properties, deformation process and stability of slopes, establishing stability evaluation methods and forecasting models.
