One paper was published in Polymer

    Recently, one paper titled as “Curing behavior and microstructure of epoxy-POSS modified novolac phenolic resin with different substitution degree” by Zixuan Lei et al. was published on Polymer. Mr. Zhang is a doctoral candidate supervised by Dr. Yuhong Liu.     Easily oxidized group and rigid structure of phenolic resin (PR) network can result in brittleness and low char yield at high temperatures, which limits the widespread applications of PR in harsh environment. Whilst organic-inorganic hybrid material, such as POSS-containing material was introduced to enhance PR, the microstructure and the thermo-mechanical properties of the hybrid material modified PR are not well understood. In Lei’s paper, a novel organic-inorganic hybrid networks were prepared with epoxy-polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (EPOSS) modified novolac phenolic resin and hexamethylenetetramine to further clarify the curing behavior and its relation to microstructure and the resulting thermal-mechanical properties.

祝贺博士研究生雷子萱同学的论文发表在Polymer

日前,博士研究生雷子萱同学(第一作者)的论文发表在Elsevier出版的学术期刊Polymer上,论文题目为“Curing behavior and microstructure of epoxy-POSS modified novolac phenolic resin with different substitution degree”。

该论文采用六次甲基四胺固化不同取代度的环氧POSS改性的热塑性酚醛树脂,制备了一种新型的有机-无机杂化网络,阐明了固化行为与微观结构的关系。论文的通讯作者是雷子萱同学的指导教师刘育红副教授。
