Since 1996, Prof.Xiao has served as a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor and professor at the School of Management of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
Hosted and completed various research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of china, the Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Fund, the Shaanxi Provincial Soft Science, the Central University Basic Research Business Expenses Special Project, and the Ministry of Education New Century Talents Program. Participated in the national major project “Management Research on Industry Development Strategy”, Shaanxi Provincial Government Project “Study on Energy Development Strategic Planning of Shaanxi Province”, Huadian International Group Project “Management Research in Biomass Energy Development and Application”.
He has published more than 30 research papers in domestic and foreign journals, including SCI publication articles such as TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH PART E-LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION REVIEW, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PRODUCTION ECONOMICS; completed the monograph "Ecological Industry System Stability and Management Research - Based on Complex Network Theory Application, etc.; participated in the construction of the "National Teaching Team for Industrial Engineering" . Specifically undertaking the experimental development of industrial engineering and the basic construction of the discipline.
His research interests include but not limited to eco-industrial (low-carbon) manufacturing theory and practice, green supply chain management and so on.
