Research Interests

I am using the precise U-Th dating method and high-resolution oxygen isotope data, trace elements, fluid inclusion isotope of stalagmites to reconstruction the history of climate change, especially to study: 1) the Holocene East Asian summer monsoon variability recorded by stalagmites from southeastern China; 2) the timing and structure of abrupt climate change events recorded by high uranium stalagmites from central China; 3) the precipitation variability in northeastern Brazil and the mean position north-south shifts of the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ); 4) fluid inclusion; 5) The diagenesis of stalagmites in Shennong Cave, Southeastern China.
