（1）X射线双星是致密星（中子星/黑洞）通过捕获伴星物质而发出X射线辐射的奇特天体，对研究单双星演化、致密物质性质、吸积物理、高能辐射机制具有重要价值。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

（2）伽马射线暴是已知的宇宙中最为剧烈的电磁爆发现象。伽玛暴的高光度、高红移和幂律谱使其成为极好的高红移宇宙的探针，为研究高红移宇宙提供绝佳契机。
 
 

（3）引力波是广义相对论的预言之一。双致密星双星系统（如双脉冲星双星系统）为研究引力理论、相对论效应提供绝佳机会。
