Molecules is the leading international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of chemistry with an IF of 4.927 (2022), ranking JCR- Q2 (Chemistry, Multidisciplinary) /CiteScore- Q1 (Chemistry (miscellaneous)). Molecules is published semimonthly online by MDPI. Prof. Guanying Li is invited as the Guest Editor for Molecules and leads a Special Issue titled "Molecular Self-Assembly in Interfacial Chemistry".
The scope of this Special Issue is to present recent advances to understand the molecular insights and highlight the strengths and weaknesses of molecular self-assembly on the surface. Topics of interest include but not limit to the following:
- Fabrication of molecular self-assemblies at the solid/solution/air or bio-interfaces.
- Novel methodologies for analyzing and characterizing their interfacial properties;
- Potential applications for interfacial molecular self-assembly in the fields of environment, energy, material science, molecular engineering, life science and health-related fields.
