简介：Web3和DeFi被广泛推崇为促进金融普惠和民主化的创新。我们使用来自以太坊网络的数据进行了初步分析。我们描述了它的网络结构、交易、区块验证和所有权的分布。以太坊的“挖矿”和所有权集中在交易所和一小部分个人手中。在交易与使用方面，我们观察到从点对点用户交易到用户与DApp与DeFi协议交互的转变，大型用户（机构）的交易明显增加。此外，小型用户的高交易费率、拥堵导致的gas价格大幅波动以及代币回报的高波动，对网络中的小型用户和新用户构成了特别的挑战。这些问题，加上用户的次优交易费用参数设置和额外的gas限制保留的机会成本，导致交易失败率很高。通过燃烧基本费用，EIP-1559政策通过再分配部分缓解了这些问题。DeFi代币的空投项目同样促进了普惠性。
