  • Brief Introduction:This chapter reviews the hybridization technologies for mainstream concentrating solar power (CSP) technologies. Various integration schemes and methods for hybrid solar power systems are summarized with practical examples, including hybridization between different CSPs, hybridization between CSP and concentrating photovoltaic (CPV), hybridization between CSP and fossil fuel power. Three specific hybrid solar power systems are present as case studies to demonstrate the distinct advantages of hybrid solar power system in details. Finally, the future trends for hybrid solar power system, such as hybridization between CSP and other renewable energy sources for solar chemical or fuel productions are outlooked.
