研究区域:全球尺度、鄂尔多斯盆地、渤海湾盆地、松辽盆地、塔里木盆地、四川盆地、湘中锑金矿集区和湘南钨锡多金属矿集区等
博士和硕士研究生招生方向:数学、统计学、应用统计(大数据)、信号与信息处理、软件工程、大数据分析、地球探测与信息技术、地球物理学等。每年计划招收强基本科生1名,硕士研究生3名(其中保送生2名)、博士研究生3名(含直博)。现在读强基本科/硕士/博士研究生共17名。
