Abstract: In this study, physicochemical properties and biocompatibilities of the La-containing apatites were intensively investigated together with their characterizations in composition, structure and morphology by using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Flourier-Transformed Infrared (FTIR) spectra, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDXS), respectively.
