A new optimization approach is presented for acoustic control, in which
shape, location, size and number of piezoelectric actuators are optimized in
a similar way with similar complexity. A criterion that the authors believe
where the main resonant frequencies, such as (1, 1) order, (2, 2) order and so
on, play important roles in acoustic control at a given frequency band is
applied. The examples given show that the approach is viable and practical
and that the criterion proved efficient. Finally, the control sensitivity
analysis to all involved factors including location, size, number and
sequence of patch arrangements are performed. The result demonstrates that
number and location are the most important factors. |
