基本信息

王玉英，女，现任西安交通大学生理学与病理生理学系副教授。硕士生导师，毕业于第四军医大学，神经生物学博士。曾经分别留学于美国印第安纳大学及亚利桑那大学做博士后研究。研究领域为：神经病理痛的分子机制。主持国家自然科学基金1项及省部级基金2项，主持校级院级教改项目2项，以第一作者在SCI收录杂志发表科研论文十余篇，在中文核心杂志发表教学论文5篇，承担本科生及留学生生理学等课程的理论及机能实验教学工作。

Research Interests

  • Molecular biology of ion channel signaling in neuropathic pain
  • Protein regulation of calcium and sodium channels
  • Dynamics of the excitabilities of dorsal root ganglia neurons 

Research Activities

  • My research is attempting to better understand the molecular mechanism of the roles of ion channels in neuropathic pain. In particular, aims to study the function and regulation of Ca2+ channels, Na+ channels and the proteins which contribute to neuropathic pain. Two projects are currently being pursued in my laboratory:
  • One is to study sympathetic sensitization. 
  • The other is to study the excitabilities of dorsal root ganglia neurons  and the role of neurons with different excitabilities in pain signal transduction.

Funding

The National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 81300972, PI), and the other one is funded by Ministry of Education (PI), and one is funded by Shaanxi province.
