Professor Wang has been working with the industry's demand on solid combustion and emission control in the past 10 years, and obtain a certain achievement in four aspects: "high alkali coal fouling mechanism and its prevention technology", "particulate matter emissions during biomass combustion", "large-scale co-utilization of biomass and coal" and "low NOx control mechanism and combustion technology". As the project leader (PI), the applicant has presided >10 national and provincial-level projects, including: 1 national key research and development project, 3 national natural science fund projects, and other >10 projects funded by industry. The applicant published 41 SCI papers as the first author and correspondent author, 2 ESI high-cited papers. SCI's paper total citations -957 (Google Scholar's citation number -1427), SCI's H factor-17 (Google Scholar's H-factor-20), the average citation per year of SCI in 2017-2019 is >200 (the average citation per year of Google Scholar in 2017-2019 is >300). A paper published in 2015 in Applied Thermal Engineering demonstrating the fouling mechanism of boiler burning high alkali coal (Wang, et al, 80, 150-159) is the most cited paper in the 8042 papers from 2015 to the present (Web of Science citations 154). The applicant was invited to give an invitation lecture at the 2nd National Youth Combustion Conference 2015. In 2015 and 2019, the applicant served as the section chairman of the 8th and 9th International Coal Combustion Conference. Since 2016, the applicant has served as the section chairman of the Annual Meeting of Chinese Combustion Institute and the Youth Combustion Academic Conference.
