Yadong Zhou is a Professor at the School of Automation at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Control Science and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2004 and 2011, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2014 to 2015. His research interests include Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Security, Data Security, and the Industrial Internet.
He currently serves as Director of the Research Center for Industry Application Solutions at the Institute of Cyberspace Security, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) Network and Data Security, among other roles.
He has led more than 30 research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program of China, the National 242 Information Security Program, the Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and the Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. He has also collaborated on research projects with companies and organizations such as China Unicom, Huawei, Tencent, State Grid, and China Mobile.
In recent years, he has published more than 100 papers in leading academic journals and conferences, including IEEE TII, IEEE TASE, IEEE TSG, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE INFOCOM, and AAAI. He has co-authored 2 book chapters, been granted more than 20 invention patents, and received several awards, including the First Prize of the 2023 Shaanxi Provincial Technological Invention Award, the Second Prize of the 2022 Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Second Prize of the 2018 Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, and the First Prize of the 2013 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award.
