Title of Paper:
A General Strategy Toward pH-Controlled Aggregation-Dispersion of Gold Nanoparticles and Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes
Journal:
Small
Summary:
pH matters: Protonation–deprotonation of an ethylenediamine molecule is used to harness the aggregation-dispersion process of gold nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes. The idea takes advantage of the doubly protonated molecule that acts as an electrostatic bridge between two oppositely charged nanoparticles.
