近日，西安交通大学全球环境变化研究院张瑞博士生、张海伟教授、程海教授等在地学领域Nature Index期刊《Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta》上发表了研究论文，题为：Dual pathways of aragonite-to-calcite transformation in stalagmites: Implications for paleoclimate reconstructions。该研究揭示了石笋中文石转变为方解石的两种不同过程及其对古气候重建的潜在影响，为判别文石-方解石型石笋是否能用于古气候研究提供了重要参考。
