A brief introduction of Dr. Xin Qi

Dr. Xin Qi is an Assistant Professor from School of Public Health and Global Health Institute (GHI), Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). He is also the GHI Seminar Coordinator and Director of Geospatial Health Laboratory, GHI. Dr. Qi has got PhD in environmental epidemiology from School of Public Health and Social Work, Queensland University of Technology, Australia; Master of International Public Health (MIPH) from School of Public Health, The University of Sydney, Australia; Bachelor of Medicine (MD equivalent, clinical medicine) from School of Medicine, XJTU. Dr. Qi’s research areas are: environmental epidemiology, climate change and population health, spatiotemporal epidemiology and global health. He has got support from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (1st class), Shaanxi Provincial Postdoctoral Science Foundation (1st class) and Xi’an Jiaotong University Early Career Researcher Start-up Fund. He had a track record of publication and is now supervising postgraduate students: 3 master students as principle supervisor, 1 master student and 1 PhD student as associate supervisor.
