Dr. Mou has been as the employment of the Institute of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition (IIPPR) in Electronic & Information Engineering School of Xi’an Jiaotong University since 1987. Having being the tutorship in 1990, associate Professor in 1997 , and Professor in 2002, he now is the director of IIPPR. Meanwhile, he also honorably served as member of the 12th Expert Evaluation Committee for the National Natural Science Foundation of China member of the 5th and 6th Executive Committee of China Society of Image and Graphics, the Vice President of Shaanxi Image and Graphics Association, and etc. Moreover, Dr. Mou is served as the member of the Technical program Committee of the IEEE International Conference on consumer electronics (ICCE), and the guest editor of the Special Issue of IEEE Access on Emerging Computed Tomography Technologies. He is invited as the member of the Scientific Committee of the 2015 Fully Three-Dimensional Image Reconstruction in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, and the Conference Chair of the 2017 Fully Three-Dimensional Image Reconstruction in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is the reviewer of several leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, Medical Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biology, etc.
