Scientific Research

 His current research interests include intelligent e-Learning system, cloud computing, mobile computing, data mining and other related research fields. He has published more than 30 research papers, including IEEE TPDS, IEEE TMC, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, and authorized over 20 invention patents of China.

Weizhan Zhang is currently an Associate Professor in the School of the Electronic and Information Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He received the B.S. in applied electronics in 1999 from Zhejiang University, China, and Ph.D degrees in computer scicence from the Xi'an Jiaotong University, China in 2010. He worked as a software engineer at Datang Telecom during 1999-2002, and a visiting scholar at Pennsylvania State University during 2015-2016. He joined the faculty of Xi'an Jiaotong University as an assistant professor in 2010, and became an associate professor in 2013.

 

He is a CCF Senior Member, IEEE Member, and ACM Member.
