- Design and construction of atomically-dispersed frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) and uncovering the catalytic mechanisms of FLPs;
- The development of efficient and low-price 2D materials and their applications in the fields of photocatalysis and electrocatalysis (CO2 reduction, hydrogen evolution, and ammonia synthesis);
- The process development on low-energy and green photoelectrocatalytic CO2 conversion for high-value C2+ chemicals.
