We are an experimental research group at School of Materials Science and Engineering of Xi’an Jiaotong University. We are presently focused on advanced functional materials (including strongly correlated materials, topological materials, ferroic materials) and their application in field of sensing, optics, and information processing; exploration and tailoring on the physical and chemical behavior of materials; and thin film synthesis and epitaxy. We would like to collaborate with researchers and experts from various research field.
Research interest:
  • Advanced functional materials and devices（including strongly correlated materials, topological materials, ferroic materials）： In these materials, the complex interactions on order parameters enable emerging phenomena which are promising for multimodal devices.  One of our research interest is exploring the application of these functional materials.

 
  • Exploring and tailoring the physical and chemical behavior of materials: we develop toolbox to manipulate the behavior of materials. This could enables deeper understanding on materials and expands their applications.

 
  • Thin film materials synthesis and microelectronics fabrications：With physical vapor deposition as well as chemical vapor deposition, we develop synthesis method to grow high quality epitaxial thin films.  Using microelectronic fabrication techniques, we build nano/micro scale devices for sensing, information processing, etc.
