Work Experience

      我是赵鹏坤,来自河南,现任西安交通大学生命学院特聘研究员,博士生导师。2016年在武汉大学取得硕士学位(师从施晓文教授)后,前往荷兰北部的一个小城-格罗宁根开始了我的博士生涯,博士导师为Andreas Herrmann教授,其间有三年多的时间在德国亚琛工业大学联合培养,读博期间的主要研究兴趣为DNA基超声机械力介导的药物释放和激活,相关工作以第一作者(含共同)身份发表在国际顶级期刊Nature Chemistry (ESI高被引论文)、Angewandte Chemie(热点论文)、ACS Macro Letters等上。2021年博士毕业以后,前往瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院开始了我的博士后研究工作,合作导师为Wendy Queen教授,主要研究内容为超大孔MOFs介导的基因编辑和癌症治疗(论文投稿中,希望早日跟大家见面)。现担任Exploration青年编委。在生物医药领域耕耘十余年,梦想可以为全人类的健康事业贡献自己的绵薄之力。

I'm Pengkun Zhao, from Henan Province, located in the center part of China. Currently, I am an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Life Science and Technology at Xi'an Jiaotong University. After obtaining my master's degree from Wuhan University in 2016 (under the supervision of Prof. Xiaowen Shi), I went to Groningen, a small city in the northern part of the Netherlands, to start my doctoral career. My doctoral supervisor was Prof. Andreas Herrmann. During that period, I did research as a joint PhD student at RWTH Aachen University in Germany over three years. My main research interests during my doctoral studies were DNA-based sono-mechanical force-mediated drug release and activation. The related work was published in top international journals including Nature Chemistry (ESI highly cited paper), Angewandte Chemie (hot paper), ACS Macro Letters, etc. as the first author (including co-first author). After earning a doctorate degree in 2021, I went to the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland to start my postdoctoral research work, collaborating with Prof. Wendy Queen. The main research topic lies in gene editing and cancer therapy mediated by ultra-large pore MOFs (the paper is under submission, see it soon). Currently, I am serving as a young editorial board member of Exploration. Having been working in the field of biomedicine for more than ten years, I dream to make contribution to the health of all human beings.
