Sun Bo, Ph.D, MD, associate professor, doctoral supervisor, is currently the deputy director of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology. Her research is mainly focused on the central regulation of food intake and obesity, the effect of perinatal nutritional environment on offspring’s metabolism, and neurobiology of taste. She got her doctor's degree at Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2012. From 2009 to 2011, she studied abroad at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute. She presides 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and 2 projects of Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. She has published more than 30 papers in journals such as Diabetes and Endocrinology. She won the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Shaanxi Province in 2015.
