As PI or co-PI, Xueyan Yang has been responsible for more than 30 grants, including the grants of National Social Science foundation, The National Soft Science Foundation, The Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of Ministry of Education of China, the Social Science Foundation of Ministry of Education of China, United Nations Population Fund, French National Science Foundation, French National Institute for Demographic Research, Ford Foundation etc.

 

 
    Publications and Awards:
 
       Xueyan Yang has published more than 80 articles, including 30+ English peer-reviewed papers and 40+ Chinese papers, as well as published 10 books in Chinese; obtained the first prize three times, the second prize three times and the third prize three times from provincial governments.

Xueyan Yang has obtained “the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of Ministry of Education”, “the Program of Excellent Youth of Humanities and Social Sciences of Provincial Education Committee of Shaanxi” and “the Young Talent Support Plan of Xi’an Jiaotong University”.
