Yong Wang, Ph.D. in physiology, Professor in Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center.
Yong Wang has been engaged in research on the pathophysiological mechanism of Parkinson's disease and feeding disorders for many years. Master the experimental techniques of optogenetics and chemogenetics, neuroelectrophysiology, neuropharmacology, microdialysis, immunohistochemistry and rodent behavior. The studies have been supported by National Natural Science Founds of China, Shaanxi Provincial Science Funds. In recent years, more than 40 papers have been published in well-known international academic journals such as Nature Communications, Neuroscience Bulletin, Cell Reports, Molecular Metabolism and Frontier in Aging Neuroscience, and have been cited by Nature, Neuron, Biological Psychology, eLife, Progress in Neuroscience, Movement Disorders, Journal of Neuroscience.
