(2.)Positions

Dr. SHA received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from National University of Singapore in 2011. He first worked at Institute of High Performance Computing as research scientist for three years. Then, he joined Xi'an Jiaotong University as an Associate Professor in 2013 and became full Professor in 2018. Dr. SHA has won the 2022 Lloyd Hamilton Donnell Applied Mechanics Reviews Paper Award by ASME, the 2019 Distinguished Young Scholar by Shaanxi province, and the 2018 China Top Cited Author Award by IOP Publishing. He has published more than 100 SCI research papers in refereed journals, including Mater. Today, Nano Energy., Nano Lett., Small Methods, Acta Mater., Appl. Mech. Rev., J. Mech. Phys. Solids, Int. J. Plasticity and so on. The SCI citation without self-citation is 3400, and H-index is 35. He presided over six national projects and served for several SCI journals (e.g. CMC-Comput. Mater. Con., Front. Mater.,  Mater. FuturesSci. Rep., Current Materials Science and Int. J. Comput. Mater. Sci. Eng.) as Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member.

(5.)Scientific Research

 Dr. SHA' interests focus on using large-scale molecular dynamics simulations and first-principles calculations as tools to investigate the atomic-scale structure and mechanical properties of the functional materials such as the graphene, metallic glass, amorphous carbon and so on.
