About this Research Topic
Abstract Submission Deadline 31 October 2022 Manuscript Submission Deadline 15 January 2023 |
Reviews in Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage 2022 will publish high-quality scholarly review papers on key topics in Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage. It aims to highlight recent advances in the field, whilst emphasizing important directions and new possibilities for future inquiries. We anticipate the research presented will promote discussion in the 'Electrochemical Energy Conversion community' that will translate to best practice applications in the entire breadth of Energy Research.
The Reviews in Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage 2022 collection welcomes full-length, mini or systematic review papers. New articles will be added to this collection as they are published.
Topics of interest to the Research Topic include, but are not limited to;
• Batteries (all types of primary or secondary batteries, including metal-air batteries, photo-electrochemical cells, redox flow batteries, etc.)
• Electrochemical capacitors (supercapacitors, electric double-layer capacitors, pseudo-capacitors, etc.)
• Scientific or engineering perspectives, experimental or theoretical, on cell components (including cathodes, anodes, liquid, gel or solid electrolytes, ionic liquids, separators, and other cell packing or protecting materials), single cells and battery packs
• Design, processing, and characterization of materials, electrodes, and single cells
• Testing methods, simulations, electric or thermal management of single cells and battery packs. Mobile or portable applications, recycling technologies of batteries and capacitors
Keywords: Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage, Energy Research, Reviews
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
