Call for papers for a theme issue "Where do we stand on self-assembly: researches and applications?"

Dr Huacheng Zhang (Xi'an Jiaotong University), Dr Songchuan Zhao (Xi'an Jiaotong University) and Dr Zhaona Liu (Xi'an Peihua University) has been appointed as the guest editors for a Theme Issue entitled as "Where do we stand on self-assembly: researches and applications?" of Philosophical Transactions A (The Royal Society).

    If you are hoping to contribute to this theme issue, please contact us via emails (zhanghuacheng@xjtu.edu.cn) as we would like to start setting all of the authors up in our submission system soon.

    All kinds of papers including review, communications and research articles are welcome.

    We were hoping to set the submission deadline for papers in mid-November, but if you are planning on submitting and need more time to finalise your paper, just let us know.

The Royal Society was founded in 1660 to promote the new experimental philosophy of that time, embodying the principles of Sir Francis Bacon. Henry Oldenburg was appointed as the first secretary to the Society and he was also the first editor of the Society's journal Philosophical Transactions
