Xiaoshan Li, born in October 1996, is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a Ph.D. in Engineering in Instrument Science and Technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research focuses on condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of electrical equipment, high-voltage insulation technology, and advanced intelligent sensing technologies. He serves as a reviewer for internationally recognized journals including High Voltage and the Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry (JAAS), and served as a Session Chair at IEEE ICPADM 2024. He has delivered invited talks at the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the High Voltage Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and OICE 2026. He has participated in more than ten major research projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has led one research project and two research tasks. His research achievements have resulted in 19 SCI/EI-indexed papers published in leading journals such as Fuel, Measurement, Gas Science and Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, and Proceedings of the CSEE. He has co-authored two graduate textbooks and academic monographs, applied for eight invention patents and two software copyrights, and received several awards, including the Third Prize of the 2025 China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award, ranked 3rd out of 7 contributors, and the Most Influential Paper Award at SPIE IACOP 2023.
