主要从事太阳能驱动CO₂/H₂O转化合成碳/氢高值化学品、太阳能驱动水氧化制过氧化氢、太阳能驱动CO2还原耦合有机物/有机质转化、太阳能驱动碳减排及海水资源化利用、光热蒸发耦合CO₂还原/水氧化反应等方面的研究。在Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Advanced Materials、Nature Communication、Advanced Energy Materials、ACS nano、eScience、Applied Catalysis B：Environment and Energy、Chemical Science、Chemical Engineering Journal、Energy等学术期刊上发表SCI论文20余篇，其中2篇入选ESI高被引论文（Highly Cited Paper），封面论文1篇（获Most Popular Cover Award奖励），申请发明专利14项，其中授权8项。目前主持国家自然科学基金项目1项，重点研发计划子课题1项，省级青年自然科学基金1项，国家博士后面上基金1项，省博后基金1项，横向项目1项。
