Zhao Wang was born in 1964 and is a professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. She received her Ph.D degree in Machinery Manufacturing in 1998 from Xi'an Jiaotong University and M.E degree in 1989 from Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. She has published over 80 scientific papers and obtained 8 patents on optical instrument. Her main areas of research are photoelectric measurement, optical information processing, optical precision instrument, digital image processing and manufacturing systems & quality engineering.
