王志东，医学博士（外科学专业），主任医师，博士生导师，西安交大二附院普外科四病区（老年普外科）科主任，学科带头人，美国哈佛大学访问学者，全国研究生教育评估监测专家库专家，《中国普通外科杂志》中青年编委，国家社会科学基金通讯评审及成果鉴定专家。担任陕西省医学会医疗技术鉴定专家，陕西省药理学会老年病药物专委会副主任委员兼任青委会主任委员，陕西省抗癌协会人工智能与机器人、老年肿瘤外科、肿瘤营养专委会常委，陕西省保健学会肝脏疾病专委会常委，陕西省研究型医院学会腹膜后肿瘤专委会常委，陕西省中医药学会肿瘤专委会委员等。主持国家级科研项目两项。主持陕西省重点和一般科研项目各一项。擅长胃肠道肿瘤和疝外科、甲状腺肿瘤外科、肝胆胰脾外科的微创手术治疗等。

培养硕士研究生苏元浩荣获西安交通大学优秀硕士论文，并顺利攻读西安交通大学博士学位。
