Dexing, Zhong

Basic Information:

    Dexing Zhong is a professor at the School of Automation at Xi'an Jiaotong University, a doctoral supervisor, and a distinguished professor at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree and has completed postdoctoral research in Basic Medicine at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Additionally, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. Professor Zhong serves as the deputy director of the Shaanxi Province Intelligent Measurement and Control and Industrial Big Data Processing Engineering and Technology Research Center. He is a member of the young scientific and technological talent under the "Qin Chuangyuan Innovative Talent Program" in Xixian New Area and part of the expert group for the standard preparation of the "Technical Requirements for Palm Vein Recognition Systems" by the ICT Academy of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the People's Republic of China (MIIT). He is also a member of the Computer Vision Committee of the China Computer Society, the Machine Vision Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics, and the Internet of Things Working Committee of the China Instrumentation Society. Furthermore, he serves as an expert reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (youth and top level) and evaluates scientific and technological projects in Anhui Province, Heilongjiang Province, and Shenzhen City.
