Dr. Haishui Huang is a professor and PI at the Department of Life Science and Technology of Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Huang is selected as a National Young Talent of China and supported by “Young Talent Support Program” of Xi’an Jiaotong University. Dr. Huang graduated from the Ohio State University and conducted his postdoc research at the Harvard Medical School, US. His research interests lie in the interface between thermodynamics and biomedical engineering, including but not limited by biopreservation, thermal therapy and tissue engineering. These research results were published on a series of high-profile journals, such as Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, Lab on a Chip, Applied Physics Letters. Dr. Huang’s research was funded by Xi’an Jiaotong University and National Science Foundation of China. Dr. Huang serves as a life member of World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers, ASME Biotransport Committee Member, coordinator of the World Biomechanics Congress, and guest editor of the journal Bioengineering.
