Biography

 

Liu Changchun is a doctoral supervisor, selected as a national-level young scientist , the Youth Top Scientist Program (Class A) at Xi’an Jiaotong University, and a high-level talent (youth) in Shaanxi Province. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2019, under the supervision of Professor Zheng Li. In September 2018, he joined the Institute of Operations Research and Analytics (IORA) at the National University of Singapore, collaborating with Professor Lee Loo Hay on research in port operations management. In April 2020, he joined the Singapore Airlines-NUS Digital Aviation Laboratory, working with Professor Teo Chung Piaw on airline revenue management research. In 2024, he joined Xi'an Jiaotong University.

He has published over 20 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author in revenue management, port resource scheduling, and production scheduling optimization. His representative papers have been published or accepted in POMS, EJOR, and IISE journals. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for journals such as MS, TS, TRB, and EJOR. He has completed several papers related to airline revenue management and developed related products. In 2023, he won third place in the Management Science and Engineering Chinese Scholar's Management Science Practice Award.
