Biography

Associate professor Reza Masoudi Nejad joined Xi'an Jiaotong University in July 2023 as young talent. Dr. Masoudi Nejad obtained his PhD degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2017. From 2017, he has been on the faculty of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Foolad Institute of Technology, Iran, where he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Then he completed a four-year Postdoctoral research fellow in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), China from July 2019 to June 2023. He has Awarded the Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing (among top 10 reviewers) from the Elsevier in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Also, he has a Guest Editor in Materials Journal (IF=3.1) and Forces in Mechanics (IF=3.2). He has awarded the International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship from Office of China Postdoc Council (OCPC), China, in 2019. It is a great honor that his name has been listed in the World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists by the Stanford University in the October 2023. Dr. Masoudi Nejad has strong publication record (H-index: 30, citations>1950) and he has published more than 110 research papers.
