HOMEPAGE OF PING XI (郗平)
I received my Ph.D. in December 2014 under the guidance of Professors Yuan YI & Philippe MICHEL. Here is my academic family tree.
Currently, I am a full professor in Xi'an Jiaotong University.
My research interests mainly lie in the field of Analytic Number Theory, including
|
- EXPONENTIAL & CHARACTER SUMS, borrowing tools from Fourier analysis and algebraic geometry;
- SIEVE METHODS, with applications to prime number theory, Diophantine problems and exponential sums;
- AUTOMORPHIC FORMS, with emphasis on analytic theory of L-functions.
My Erdős number is 3 as proved by the joint papers of Paul Erdős – Gérald Tenenbaum, Gérald Tenenbaum – Jie Wu and Jie Wu – Ping Xi.
