Bin Xiang, Associate professor, Supervisor for doctoral and master's students, IEEE Member, Tang Scholar.

She obtained the B.E. degree and Ph. D degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University. She is a visiting scholar at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. She is mainly engaged in research work on superconducting power equipment, key technologies and applications of DC breaking. She is selected as "China Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program", "Shaanxi Province Young Talent Promotion Program" and "Xi 'an Young Talent Promotion Program". She has published more than 80 academic papers and authorized more than 20 invention patents. She participated in compiling 2 monographs. Articles published in SUST, a famous journal in superconductivity, were selected for the "China Highly Cited Article Award" announced by the British Physical Society Publishing (IOP Publishing) in 2023, and IOP Publishing is the top 1% highly cited honor. She was awarded an excellent doctoral dissertation of Shaanxi Province and Xi 'an Jiaotong University. She was a young editorial board member of the journal Superconductivity and a guest editor of Superconductor Science and Technology, the first district journal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has won the only best paper award in international conferences ICEPE-ST once, won the best presentation award 3 times, and the best presenter award 2 times.
