法国普瓦捷大学教授、Tribology International主编Michel Fillon来访

        应西安交通大学机械工程学院设计科学与基础部件研究所邀请,201975日下午,法国普瓦捷大学教授、Tribology International主编Michel Fillon博士在中三楼为我校师生做了关于可倾瓦径向滑动轴承的瞬态热弹流体动力学(Transient thermal effects and risk of seizure of tilting-pad journal bearings)及基于粗糙接触的弹性流体动力学数值模型 (Mixed lubrication regime analysis in heavily loaded bearings)的学术报告。共有十余位教师和三十余位研究生聆听了报告。报告会由设计所书记董光能教授主持。

Michel Fillon教授的报告围绕严苛工况条件下工艺参数与可倾瓦径向滑动轴承安全运行的关系展开。启动期间,初始径向轴承间隙、进料温度、额定转速和经过的加速时间与卡死现象紧密相关。为了说明倾斜垫轴颈轴承的几何特性和运行条件的重要性,定量分析了上述参数的影响。对于初始径向轴承间隙为5×10-5m的可倾瓦径向滑动轴承,5s内在初始温度30°C下从0加速到6000 rpm,发生灾难性的卡死现象。同样明显的是:(1)较大的加速时间(240 s),或(2)较大的径向轴承间隙(Cb =5×10-5 m),或(3)较高的进料温度(T0 = 40°C)导致较小的固体热位移,因此能完成轴承的流体动力学运行。

此外,Michel Fillon教授还报告了基于粗糙接触的确定性弹性流体动力学数值模型。通过改进位移分量和考虑粗糙接触,拓展了已开发的确定性弹性流体动力学混合润滑模型。提出一种位移计算的原始方法,该方法能够处理非常大的网格(这里是360万个节点)和有限元导出的影响系数矩阵。基于活动集的接触方法被设计为现有方法的组合,以便在不牺牲准确性的情况下最小化计算时间。数值模型随后应用于径向轴承的参数研究,结果表明表面粗糙度,尤其是在高载荷粗糙接触明显的情况下,对轴承性能有显着影响。纵向粗糙度取向显示最差性能,而横向粗糙度通常具有最佳性能。发现轴承材料影响粗糙度效应的大小,较硬的材料导致更明显的粗糙度影响。压电效应对轴承性能也有显着影响,即使对于这里考虑的较软的瓦块材料,也会减小接触范围和摩擦力矩,通过Stribeck曲线结合接触模型和流体动力学效应,可以确定流体动力学和混合润滑之间的界限,并研究粗糙度取向和瓦块材料对这些界限的影响。

报告完毕后,Michel Fillon教授和师生进行了交流互动。报告在全体师生的掌声中落下帷幕。通过此次学术报告,我校师生体会了如何讲好一个实证分析的故事,如何利用数学模型解决实际工程问题。

 

 

 

 

报告人简介:

 

        Dr. Michel Fillon received his Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 and his “Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches” in 1995 from University of Poitiers, France. He is currently a CNRS Director of Research at the Pprime Institute. From 2002 to 2010, he has been Manager of the “Lubricated Contact Mechanics” team and then, Director of Department “Mécanique des Solides” of the Pprime Institute in 2010 & 2011.

         His current research interests are both experimental and theoretical investigations of hydrodynamic journal and thrust bearings. He is a Fellow of ASME and of STLE. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Chair of Research Committee of ASME Tribology Division. He is a member of Board of Directors of STLE since 2016.

          He is also co-Editor-in-Chief of “Tribology International”, Associate Editor-in-Chief of “Mechanics & Industry” (EDPSciences), Associate Editor of “Lubricants” and Editorial member of several other journals. He has been an Associate Editor of ASME Journal of Tribology from 2003 to 2009.

          He is organizing the EDF/Pprime Workshop on Bearings since 2002. He was also the AMPC Chair of 73rd STLE Annual Meeting, May 20-24, 2018, Minneapolis, USA.
