About Sensors

Sensors (IF: 3.847) is a leading journal devoted to fast publication of the latest achievements of technological developments and scientific research in the huge area of physical, chemical and biochemical sensors, including remote sensing and sensor networks. Both experimental and theoretical papers are published, including all aspects of sensor design, technology, proof of concept and application.

Scope of this special issue

This Special Issue focuses on the state-of-the-art advancements in optical technologies for communication, perception, and chips. Digital, electrical, and optical signal processing theories, artificial intelligence, integrated chips, devices, subsystems/systems, as well as future perspectives are all within the scope. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
