Basic Information

Zhanhu LIU, male, Ph.D in law, postdoctoral of Marxist theory and philosophy, visiting professor to Sociology Department of University of Saskatchewan in Canada. At present, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of Marxism, Xi’an Jiaotong University, mainly engaged in the research of Marxism and political philosophy.

He has presided over the youth projects of the National Social Science Foundation, the later projects of philosophy and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education, the top project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the general first-class project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has participated in the major entrusted projects of philosophy and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of education and the key projects of the National Social Science Fund. His monograph Ideal Society to be Confirmed in Reality:Presence and Appearance of Scientific Communism was published by China Social Science Press in 2019.

He has published more than 50 academic papers in Marxism and Reality, Teaching and Research, Scientific Socialism, Zhejiang Social Science, and China Discipline Inspection and Supervision Newspaper. Many of them have been referred by Hongqi Digest, Social Science Digest, and Guangming Network, Qiushi Network, China social Science Network, etc.

He is also a researcher of the Institute of Collaborative Innovation of Marxism Sinicization, the Institute of Social Engineering, the Institute of Anti-corruption of XJTU, a member of the youth lecturer group of the Communist Youth League Central Committee, a speaker of the Chang’an Forum of Shaanxi Province, and a distinguished professor of the National Cadre Education Base to the Organization Department of the CPC.
